Aptinyx (APTX) Drug NYX-783 Chances?
The company is meeting with the FDA on April 29, 2021 to discuss future developments and registration pathways. The data for this drug doesn't seem very impressive for the treatment of PTSD. It doesn't treat what seems to be the core aspect of this disorder and the effect size seems to be small. At first glance, it doesn't seem to greatly surpass the current standard of care for PTSD.
Is it possible for the FDA to deny permission for the following phase 2b study or is showing safety and modest efficacy enough to get through at this stage?
