We focus on people living with severe neurological diseases that lack safe and effective treatment options, particularly in the areas of Parkinson’s disease, a monogenic form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) called SOD1, Huntington’s disease, Friedreich’s ataxia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative diseases related to defective or excess aggregation of tau and alpha-synuclein protein in the brain.
